SMUD provides this directory for your convenience to help you find a licensed contractor for your project. The directory is a no-cost service. SMUD receives no fee for any referral, has no ownership interest in any contractor listed in the directory, and is not in a partnership or in a joint venture with such contractor. SMUD does not endorse or warrant any workmanship, installation, labor, cost or materials of the contractor you select.
The directory displays up to three contractors that fit search criteria selected by the user. The directory randomly selects the three contractor results, but a history of high-quality work as measured by in-field inspections and positive customer feedback surveys increases the odds that a contractor will be selected for display in the top three. Customers always have the option
of viewing all search results.
SMUD verifies that every contractor appearing in directory is listed on the Contractors State License Board (CSLB) and has an outstanding business reputation at the time of contractor's enrollment into the SMUD Contractor Network. SMUD also performs ongoing checks on the contractor's licenses and online reputation while contractor is listed on directory.
This directory is administered and maintained by a third-party administrator. This directory additionally contains links to contractor websites. SMUD makes no representation or warranty and assumes no liability for any information, content or advertising obtained through this directory, or the websites of any contractor linked to this directory. Use of any linked website is at the sole risk of the user. The information contained in this directory is provided "as-is". SMUD makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.
